Pastoral care

Pastoral care is the call upon Christians to care for the community. It is something that Christians have always done, and is integral to our Christian identity.

Here at St Paul's we have a dedicated and experienced pastoral care team, whose job it is to help those in need. If you are ill or in a difficult situation, we may be able to offer assistance.

The pastoral care team meet regularly to discuss the needs of those in the community of St Paul's and in the parish to see where they can help. They can visit people at home, or keep in touch by telephone. If someone is unable to get out and would like to receive holy communion, we can arrange for this to be taken to people at home. We also have links to the chaplaincy department of Broomfield's hospital.

All of our pastoral care work is treated as confidential and we are here to help everyone. So don't be concerned if you don't go to church or you're not a Christian!
