Morning Prayer    

This happens every day, from Monday to Thursday. Morning prayer is a way to start the day right with God, and though it usually only consists of a few people, it is foundationally important to the life of the church.

On Monday to Thursday, prayers start at 8.30am. We meet in the church on Monday to Wednesday & Thursday at 377 Cressing Road house (except the first Thursday of the month).

The form of the Daily Office that we use can be found here. Sometimes, however, we might pray in a more informal way, using one or more of the lectionary readings. Or we might use an alternative form of morning prayer, such as that of the Northumbrian community.
