Come dressed to get messy!
Messy Church happens six times a year, from 2.00 pm - 4.00 pm, during the termly and half-termly holidays. Details about any forthcoming Messy Church events can be found on the 'notices and fliers' section here.
Messy Church takes a biblical theme and story, and uses this to generate a series of craft activities. It is suitable for children of all ages, but adults have great fun too! Activities include all sorts of things to make, decorating cakes or biscuits, painting, puzzles or games.
After this, there is a short, interactive act of worship. A child-friendly song is sung, and children's prayers are also offered.
After all this, it's time for biscuits, cake and enjoying each other's company
During the summer holidays, we also have our 'Messy Fun Afternoon', which often includes a children's entertainer, a petting farm, lots of craft and activities for the whole family to enjoy!
